Thomas J. “TJay” Kowalchuk

TJay Kowalchuk joined Americana Partners in 2025 as Executive Director of Private Wealth Services, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Americana, he led West Coast Business Development at Dynasty Financial Partners, working closely with some of the largest and most respected RIAs in the country.
Originally from New York, TJay relocated to Southern California during the pandemic-driven shift to remote work, where he continues to reside today.

TJay began his career at Smith Barney supporting private wealth advisor teams. He later transitioned to the RIA space, gaining comprehensive expertise across operations, technology, and compliance. As a Director of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer, his work included building and managing CRM systems, portfolio and financial planning platforms, investment model implementation, advisor onboarding, and successfully leading an SEC audit.

TJay is a graduate of Binghamton University and a professional musician, specializing in guitar and vocals.
